She was just a baby — a little calf struck by a speeding vehicle, left with a fractured front leg and wounds across her small body. For more than 24 hours, she lay there in pain, alone and unseen.

Until someone chose to stop.

Mr. Anish, moved by compassion, didn’t turn away. He informed the local authorities and brought her straight to our sanctuary — a space built on the belief that every life matters.

Today, because of that single act of kindness, she is safe. She’s receiving medical care, her wounds are healing, and for the first time in days, she is able to rest without fear.
