Rescue of 40 Innocent and Desperate Souls!!!

On April 28th near Ambur, Tirupattur district, our founder, Sai Vignesh, witnessed a container truck leaking cattle urine and dung. He immediately recognized that the cattle were being trafficked and called the police to intercept the vehicle.

The truck was successfully intercepted at the Vaniambadi toll gate by the Tirupattur District Police. Inside, we found 40 cattle crammed together in a very debilitated state—starved, thirsty, injured and packed so tightly they could hardly move.

The most horrific sight was that green chillies had been rubbed into their eyes, causing profuse tearing and immense pain.

The driver admitted the cattle being transported for slaughter, from Gurazala in Andhra Pradesh to Kerala.

An FIR has been filed against the perpetrators, and the cattle are now safe at Sri Jain Gaushala, Vellore.

We express our deepest gratitude to:

-        Tirupattur District Police, for intercepting the truck without delay.

-        Tamil Nadu Animal Welfare Board (@honorary_member_tnawb ), for ensuring the animals reached a safe place for treatment and care.

-        Selvan Nagarthinam Sir, Meenakshi Vijayakumar ma'am, Tamil Nadu Fire and Rescue Services.

-        Dr. Mahesh (@moookavedane), for his ground support throughout the rescue.

-        Sri Jain Gaushala Vellore, for treating and sheltering to these rescued animals.

-        To every single person who helped save their lives.

We urge everyone; if you witness such cruelty, raise your voice and immediately report it to the authorities. Together, we can stop such atrocities. 🙏🏼
