On 24/02/2024, I received a call that Sathyaraj of Pammadhakulam, Red Hills slashed the tail of a pregnant cow with a knife/sickle as the cow tried to eat the crops which he planted in a poromboke land.
Immediately, I lodged a complaint with the Red Hills Police Station and after thorough investigation, the FIR was lodged under IPC 429 and Section 11(1)(a) of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960.
