He escaped from going for slaughter!

We received a call from one person saying that her calf was run over by a vehicle and suffered an open fracture in the hind leg. Piece of a bone fell apart.

Her family members wanted to sell the calf for slaughter but the woman stood strong against all of them.

After a huge struggle with her family, she handed over the calf to our sanctuary for further treatment and care.

Wound dressing and treatment is going on a daily basis for her.

We are hoping that the calf makes a recovery soon!
