Meet some of our residents and read their rescue stories by the founder!

MEET BUCKY 💚
Bucky, a brave soul, was caught in a trap intended for wild hares. This left him with serious injuries to his muzzle. Thankfully, our team rescued him and brought him to the sanctuary where he is now receiving the care and treatment he needs. His remarkable resilience serves as a powerful reminder that every life deserves a second chance, a touch of kindness.
THIS, IS CHIRANJEEVI 💚
Canine distemper is a deadly viral disease that attacks the nervous system and leaves many street dogs paralyzed or worse. Chiranjeevi survived — but not without scars.
He was left with paralysis in his hind legs and only mild pain reflexes.
Through weeks of gentle physiotherapy and care from our vets, Chiranjeevi began to move again. Today, he can walk around the sanctuary, soak up the sun, and sleep peacefully — free from fear and pain.

MEET OUR RESCUE PIGS!
These pigs were cruelly tied up and left to rot in terrible conditions. They were immediately rescued and brought to our sanctuary with the hope that they could finally feel safe again. Though they are still afraid of new people due to their trauma, they have found comfort in a few familiar faces, their favorite food, and most importantly—each other. They will never experience cruelty again, and begin a life of love, kindness, and care.
THE KINDEST EYES AMONG THE PARALYSED DOGS 💚
This sweet girl was abandoned on the streets by her previous owners. She then met with a terrible accident that left her back legs paralysed. We rescued her and brought her to the sanctuary, and she’s been with us ever since.
Her story is a reminder that adopting an animal is like taking home family. And like every other animal at the sanctuary, she deserved a forever home.

MEET OUR TINY RESIDENT, WHO GOT A SECOND CHANCE AT LIFE 💚
This little one was born with paralyzed hind legs—and for that, he was deemed unworthy of life. Just days after entering the world, he was sold to a meat shop.
Two compassionate individuals saw him and refused to look away. Because of their courage and love, his story didn’t end there—it began again.
Today, he’s safe at our sanctuary, where he’s learning what it means to be held, to be loved, and to be free. ❤
This bull was found walking the streets, his tail was brutally cut and he was bleeding for over a week. By the time we reached him, the wound was infested with maggots. We can only imagine the unbearable pain he must’ve been in.
We immediately rescued him and brought him to the sanctuary, where he was treated for his wounds.

Say Moo to Firefly !
Rescue Story
Around 2 AM of November 1st, I gathered information about few illegal slaughtersheds and informed the local police.
Once the police came, the slaughtersheds were raided and nearly 8 cattle were rescued on the same day including pregnant cows and calves.
But in one of the slaughter sheds we were unable find any bovine after searching for a long time.
We then decided to depart from the place and got onto our vehicle, when I heard a faint "Moooo" sound. Under an instinct, I followed the sound and could hear it stronger and stronger until I came to a midst of a bush. They had tied her legs and neck to a tree and she was giving out sounds under distress. It really seemed that she could sense that someone was there to rescue her and did not give up on her hope and will to live. We rescued her immediately and now she has a forever home at the Sanctuary where she will know only kindness and love.
She's pretty old but very sweet and calm.

Say hello to Baby Nala and her Mom Sarafina !
Rescue Story
Sarafina was pregnant with Nala when she was on the way to be slaughtered along with 6 buffaloes.
They were cramped up in the back of a truck bruised and in pain due to chilly powder application.
During the night of August 31st, 2020 I was feeding the dogs when I saw a vehicle speeding,
I chased the vehicle, stopped it and called the police to the location. The police and I were horrified at the cruelty. A case was registered a case against the animals abusers and they were rescued and shifted to the sanctuary for further care. In the month of February, Sarafina gave birth to the beautiful Nala who will only know affection. Nala is always a happy girl who loves flaunting her cute teeth.

Say Hi to Nihu!
Nihu is high-spirited goat who loves human company and foraging shrubs. It was sad to know that she was about to be slaughtered when she was pregnant. Fortunately with the help of police we rescued her and she now lives happily at the sanctuary. We are expecting new kids to join the goat tribe soon!
